The Inn is a non-smoking facility. We appreciate your consideration in following this regulation.

Cancellation Policy: We require a credit card to reserve the room. A deposit is not taken at the time of booking. However, if you cancel your reservation fourteen days or more days prior to your scheduled arrival date, you will be charged a $25 handling fee. In the event that you cancel your reservation outside the cancellation period we will charge your credit card the value of one night stay, a charge of two nights will be charged for holiday weekends. We will do our best to re-rent your room. However, if we are unsuccessful we will be forced to charge you. Thank you for understanding.

Pet Policy: We allow pets in rooms #5, 6 and 17. A $20 pet fee will be added to your stay. Pets are not permitted in the common areas of the Inn. For consideration of all our guests, we ask owners not to leave pets unattended in rooms while off the premises and we appreciate owners picking up any pet litter on the grounds. In the event any damages occur to the property, a fee will be added to the owner's credit card covering any such costs.

The bar is open from 2:00 through 10:00pm most days and special room requests are honored in advance or by speaking with innkeepers. All drinks may be charged to your room. The Green River Inn has a full liquor license which by Vermont law prohibits guests from bringing alcoholic beverages purchased from another location to be consumed on our property.

Cell phone reception is not available in the town of Sandgate. A phone is available in the first floor hall for guest use. Instructions for long distance calling are provided.

The Inn does not have a restaurant. In order to avoid any unnecessary inconvenience, late arrivals may choose to plan meals in advance and reservations are strongly recommended for weekends and holidays.
